Description

The figure of Saint Andrew in the natural holding his silver cross, standing on a mound of Vert, all surrounded by thistles in the natural, moving with four listels of gold inscribed QUEEN'S OWN CAMERON HIGHLANDERS OF CANADA in Vert letters.

Symbolism

Thistles (the floral emblem of Scotland) and the cross held by Saint Andrew (the patron saint of Scotland) are commonly used for highland infantry badges. "QUEEN’S OWN CAMERON HIGHLANDERS OF CANADA" is a variant of the regiment's name.
